You can export your entire garden in open Markdown at any time, and cancel your subscription with a single click.
You enter your domain (e.g. notes.alice.com or alice.garden) in your Garden settings. We provision an enterprise-grade SSL certificate on Cloudflare's global edge network. You simply add a CNAME or TXT verification record at your DNS provider (Namecheap, Cloudflare, Porkbun, etc.), and your notes are served directly from your own domain.
You can cancel anytime from your settings with one click via the Stripe Customer Portal. You retain Pro features until the end of your prepaid billing period. Afterward, your account transitions to the Free tier.
We will never delete your notes. Existing notes remain safely stored, and you can export your entire library as standard Markdown and image assets at any point.
In your settings, Pro members receive a dedicated email address (u_yourid@in.standard.garden). You can save this contact in your phone or email client. Whenever you forward an email or newsletter to it, our worker cleans the HTML, removes trackers, formats it into clean Markdown, and files it into your garden.
Hyphe is Standard Garden's semantic AI companion. It turns your notes into vectors (lists of numbers) so that similar ideas can be found, and it answers questions from your notes. Everything runs on Cloudflare's own AI (Workers AI), the company that already hosts the site: no third-party AI service ever sees your writing, and we do not train any model on it. Private notes never reach the AI unless you are on Pro and switch on “Hyphe reads my private notes”, and then only you ever see answers drawn from them. If you stay out of the Mycelium, your notes stay in your own Hyphe and never appear in anyone else's answers.
Yes! Standard Garden is designed to work in harmony with Obsidian and local Markdown editors. Our Obsidian plugin allows you to keep your canonical vault on your local disk and selectively sync notes to the slow web whenever you desire.
